| Video Discription | China's new embassy started operation on Tuesday in Islamabad, Pakistan. Located in northeastern Islamabad, the new embassy is believed to be one more symbol of the friendly cooperation between the Chinese and Pakistani governments. Sun Weidong, China's ambassador to Pakistan, said the new embassy is a result of the unique all-weather friendship between the two countries. More than 600 people attended the opening ceremony of the new embassy, including Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, speaker of the National Assembly at the Parliament of Pakistan. Sadiq said the new embassy shows that the two countries have entered a new stage in their relationship. The new embassy started construction in May 2012 and was completed earlier this year in February. The old embassy will be returned to the Pakistani government later.
