| Video Discription | Trooper Tre Davis had a very busy week! Trooper's Report: On Sunday, June 30th, 2024 at approximately 10:55 p.m., I was in the area of Otter Creek Road and Interstate 30 when I observed a motorcycle traveling West on Otter Creek Road towards Highway 5. I observed the motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed, and turned around to conduct an enforcement stop on the vehicle. As I turned my unit around I observed the driver look in my direction and begin to accelerate away from me, proceeding through a red light before continuing on Otter Creek. I then activated my emergency lights and sirens and advised Troop A Communications that I would be in pursuit. The pursuit continued onto Highway 5 where the suspect accelerated to approximately 110 MPH while cutting in between cars. The suspect then turned onto W Baseline Road with speeds reaching approximately 110 MPH. The pursuit continued into Rural Pulaski County where the suspect turned off all rear lights and continued to evade Troopers at high rates of speeds. When the suspect vehicle reached Raines Road, a residential area, he began to slow in an attempt to turn onto Sullivan Road and continue fleeing. The motorcycle was traveling at a speed too high to navigate the right turn, and continued passed the intersection where the suspect then began to attempt a U-Turn to continue fleeing at reckless speeds, causing extreme danger to both himself and the public. To prevent further escape I moved my patrol unit to block his route and made contact with the bike with my front bumper portion, causing the bike to fall over. The suspect was then taken into custody without further incident. Medical personnel were called to the scene to tend to a small laceration caused from the intervention before the suspect was transported to Baptist Health Medical Center - Little Rock, to be treated further. Further investigation showed the suspect, Mr. James Brown, to have a suspended license with no motorcycle endorsement. The motorcycle was found to be unregistered, and displaying fictitious tags. The suspect was cleared for incarceration and transported to the Pulaski County Regional Jail and charged with the following; 5-54-125 - Fleeing - Vehicle or Conveyance - Substantial Danger of Death 27-51-104 - Careless and Prohibited Driving 27-52-107 - Fail to Stop at Red Light 27-16-303 - Driving on Suspended License 27-20-106 - Riding Motorcycle Without Operators License 27-14-701 - Owner Fail to Register Motor Vehicle 27-14-306 - Fictitious Tags WAsVQ96suoY |
