The verb to describe when you say any of them is to "swear", so if you say something then you are "swearing". "Swear words" = bad and rude words in English Bloody Bloody hell (Or "heck") Bloody idiot! (Negative adjective) Son of a bitch Not used widely, nor considered particularly rude You son of a bitch! Son of a bitch! The original meaning is as a noun which is a synonym for "vagina" (female genitalia). If you are not a native speaker, I strongly advise that you do not use this word at any time. Now it is used as an insult against men and sometimes women too. It is completely unacceptable in all contexts and is offensive to most people, only used by Britons amongst people they know will not be upset.
