| Video Discription | #hdr #highdynamicrange #djimini4pro A TUTORIAL/MY PROCESS How To Render Drone Footage From The DJI Mini 4 Pro To Upload To YouTube in HDR (High Dynamic Range) HDR improves the overall visual quality of videos by providing a wider range of brightness and contrast. ➡️ DRONE CONFIGURATION Resolution/Frame Rate: 4K/60 FPS Color Profile: HLG ND Filter: None (Drones Standard Lens) Shutter: 1/50 ISO: 100 Mode: Auto Editing Software: DaVinci Resolve PROCESS I USE TO PREPARE HDR VIDEOS FOR UPLOAD TO YOUTUBE * Take note of the framerate, resolution, and color profile used when shooting the footage. For example, I might shoot a video in 4k @ 60FPS in the HLG Color Profile. * BEFORE I import the footage into DaVinci Resolve, I go into "Settings/Master Settings" and set "Timeline Frame Rate" to match the framerate I shot the video in. Using the above settings, I would set this to 60 frames per second. * Next, go into "Color Management" and set the following: Color Science: "DaVinci YRGB Color Managed" Uncheck "Automatic Color Management" Color Processing Mode: "HDR Rec.2020 HLG (P3-D65 Limited)" Output Color Space: "Rec.2020 ST2084 1000 nits" Make sure the "HDR Mastering is for" 1000 nits (If the box is grayed out, it is OK) * Click "Save" to exit "Settings" * Import the media, edit, and color grade. * Go to the "Deliver" page. Click "Custom Export" * Enter a File Name for your video * Click "Browse" and navigate to the location where you want to save your video. * Select "Single Clip" and "Video" * Make sure the "Export Video" box is checked * Format: MP4 * Codec: H.265 * Resolution: 3840 x 2160 Ultra HD * Framerate: Make sure this matches what you entered in "Settings/Master Settings" * Quality: Select "Restrict To" and enter 100000 * Uncheck "Optimize For Speed" * Encoding Profile: Main10 * Everything else can be left at their default settings. * Click "Add Render To Queue" * A window pops up. Give your file a name and click save * On the next popup, click "Add." Job 1 will appear at the upper right. * Click "Render All" * Your video will be rendered in HDR to the location you specified. NOTE: When you upload your video to YouTube, it could take a day or two before it is fully processed as "HDR" The video will first appear in the normal resolutions for example 720p, 1080p, 1440p, and 2160p, but not yet in HDR.
