| Video Discription | Marvin D. Moles made a nighttime parachute jump into France on August 15th 1944, as a member of I Company of the 517th Parachute Infantry Regiment, during Operation Dragoon, the invasion of southern France. In 1999, his camouflaged and rigger modified paratrooper helmet with his named carved on the front was found hanging on the wall of a restaurant in southern France. This video explains how it was possible to track Marvin Moles down 60 years later and describes how he came back to France to see his helmet and visit the battlefields he had fought on in 2004.
