I take care of patients of all ages, starting with newborns through the end of life. I worked as an emergency room nurse for many years before I decided to go back to school to become a nurse practitioner. I decided to further my education to become a nurse practitioner so that I could have more time with patients and make a bigger impact in their lives. I really try to get to know my patients, get to know them as an individual, their life situation and their stressors. This way, I can help them understand more about what is going on and what we need to do to fix things. I enjoy women’s healthcare, pediatric care, and prenatal care. I help people with their acute care needs, chronic care, as well as preventative. I really like to see people before they get sick so that I can help them prevent illness. I learn things every day from my patients.
