Intro: Your Energy - Is it inward or is it outward? Aside from the looks, the one thing that guys notice about a woman isn’t an outward personality trait that's obvious to everyone, but your energy. When a woman has low self-esteem, her energy will be inward. Your attention will be on your inner voice that’s constantly criticizing you. Your attention isn’t on your senses, which is to say, your energy isn’t outward. When your attention is on your senses, you feel more alive and you sound more alive. You pay attention more, you feel more relaxed and he senses it. When you’re in your head, you can’t really listen. The cloud of thought and resistance clouds your perception. You hear him, but you really don’t. Your thoughts and insecurities are sucking away so much of your energy that you are constantly trying to get energy from other people’s attention and validation. If as a guy I interact with you, you might look like the hottest girl in the world, but if I sense that you need me to feel better about yourself, then my automatic reaction to that is to feed off your neediness to feed my low self-esteem (that’s assuming I’m being needy and egotistic). When a guy notices this in a woman, he will have two choices: empower her or use her. Most of the time a guy will use you because it’s too easy not to. You’re too compliant. You’re constantly trying to make him happy and not make yourself happy. Can you see how this can be a problem? Shift the focus of your attention from inward to outward, which is from your thoughts to your physical sensations. This will liven you and change your vibration from low energy to high energy. When a guy interacts with you, he’s going to sense this. Just make sure to remain on high alert for any neediness or any desire to hold onto something. That is the ego coming through the back door.
