| Video Discription | Some scenes here from the 1969 Italian/Spanish co-production 'No Importa Morir', starring American actor Tab Hunter. There are two English titles for this movie - 'The Bridge Over The Elbe' and ' The Legion of No Return'. The basic story is that the Americans are desperate to destroy an important Bridge over the Elbe before the Russians get to it fiirst, so preventing them sweeping further into Germany than the Americans are prepared to allow. An initial assault fails, and so a new team is sent on what is, essentially, a suicide mission. I loved this movie. Yes, there are errors in uniforms and so on, but it's a fantastically enjoyable 'shoot 'em up' type war film, ideal for a rainy afternoon's viewing. My English version isn't so good in picture quality, so this upload is from the Czech version I also have. There's more to come from this one.
