| Video Discription | While replacing the fuel pump on my 1996 Ford E-350 Econoline van, I found a big issue with the wiring. the fuel pump I pulled out of the van was most certainly aftermarket because the wires did not match up correctly. It turned out the grounds for the fuel pump and sender unit were mixed up. The vehicle did run but had fuel delivery issues. Having these grounds swapped can certainly cause excessive voltage drop issues with the fuel pump due to the wire size difference. Never trust an aftermarket part is simply plug and play. I show you how I fixed this issue so the new pump won't have a voltage drop issue this time around. I hope you found this video useful and thanks for watching!
