| Video Discription | Adult supervision may be required* Here's a video to make your own 'funky fountain'. This is what you need: - Empty bottle of water - Scissors - Bendy straw - Water - A bowl - Screwdriver Have an adult cut a bottled water in half, then use a screwdriver to make a hole in the bottom the size of the straw. The hole needs to be big enough for the straw to fit through, but still hold it. Now insert the straw through the hole coming through the top of the water bottle. Take the bendy part of the straw and have it rest against the bottom of the bottle as in the video. Now pour the water into the water bottle. You will notice as you pour water in that no water comes out of the straw until the water gets past the bend. That is due to pressure. How does it work? The bottom of the straw is at lower pressure.
