| Video Discription | This is groundbreaking stuff here, courtesy of none other than the wizard himself, GenericMadScientist. Apparently it only took him about an hour of looking through the code to find the part responsible for imposing the strum limit in HMX-era GH games. Absolutely legendary. This is so huge I can't even describe it. People have been looking for a way to remove the strum limit for over a decade, and now, 14 years after this game came out, we've done it. He has a fix for GH2 on PS2 and Xbox 360, and has located the same constant in the code of GH1 and GH80's. I think he's even started work on RB2 as well. If he can remove the strum limit from the RB engine too..... GG. This quite literally ushers in a new era of classic GH customs. This engine feels fucking NICE without a strum limit, I can easily see this engine becoming a favorite among top players looking to get away from Clone Hero for a while. It feels like RB3, but even better. How can you do this yourself? Well, for starters this fix has not been made public yet, only a few people have access to it. I think the plan is to add more mods to make it patently obvious that the strum limit is removed (i.e. add some text somewhere, change colors of things, anything to make it stand out from the base game). Once this goes public, the easiest way to play it would be on PCSX2, but if you want the full experience by playing it on console, you'll need a modded PS2 (FreeMcBoot works great) or a modded Xbox 360 (RGH gang babyyy) This all happened at like 9AM CST yesterday morning. This was before leaked GH1 and GH80's prototype builds were even on our radar, that was later in the day. Milohax discord server is on fucking cloud 9 right now Saturday, March 20th, 2021, the biggest day in GH history for enthusiasts.
