Gold is what i call a monetary metal, most of its value in the market is dependent upon perception of value of gold versus paper assets as opposed to industrial demand in the industrial sector. Silver has that but it also has a much larger application for industrial use. Silver was de-monitized much longer ago. At the moment I do like silver as an asset.
