If you want to build good arm and wrists structure in your backswing, this drill is a SIMPLE and effective way to do just that. Learn how to set the desired arm and wrist bends at set-up, then you can simply keep them there as you turn your body to complete the swing. Add more structure to the movement by holding something between your arms as you do this movement. “Squeezing” the arms together throughout the golf swing can provide much needed rigidity to the swing which helps to maintain and manage the radius of the swing arc, leading to more repeatable and consistent ball striking.
