Hema and Esha were asked about walking the ramp together and their outfits. Hema said she was glad to have walked the ramp for a designer who was helping empower women in Assam. She also said she was going to promote Esha’s film, Cakewalk, and encouraged her daughter to say more about the film. This is when the organisers interrupted and said that this is not an interaction for the media but a photo op. An upset Esha Deol walked off, followed soon by her mother.
