What is that? What is the end product of everything? Well, it's waste matter and waste energy. And that's it. Right. So the economy is an idiotic system for taking useful matter and energy and grinding it up and converting it into waste matter and energy. That's the physical picture of the economy. So to make sense out of it, you really have to escape from just physical dimensions. And so what was wrong with the picture is that it stayed within the physical world. It did not go into the world of experience or sentience or welfare or enjoyment of life.
