| Video Discription | This is a short documentary from Gentiana Ramandani in cooparation with Leviz Albania and Swiis Embassy. The video shows the story of a indigent family living in Tirana and their situation caused by natural causes and not being supported by local governance and public institution. We followed this story for more than 6 months in a ping-pong journey from institution to institution and no response. The idea of this episode was to help the citizen through media and as well to show to the audiences the real face of the public institution in relation to the citizens. His house is about to collapse cause of the river nearby them. In this case the head of the household asked help to the municipality to intervene since the house has legally been build 30 years ago. Not only remained without any support but faced indifference in every office he went. We show this case with the intention to make the local government to react and do something for the family with 5 members. They reacted after our documentary but not solving the case because the jaw stands to previews official documents are missing. The episode is all about the reality of society towards their mayors and other public officials. The way how they treat the citizen, their need and all other priorities. 1fghZubobis |
