Video Discription |
This version of Somebody To Love comes from the Hollywood 1991 remasters by Kevin Metcalfe and was released on March 5th, 1991 in the US.
Randy "Badazz" Alpert (nephew of Herb Albert and co-writter of Notorious B.I.G.'s "Hypnotize") remixed Somebody To Love for Hollywood Records' 1991 re-release of A Day At The Races. Randy's remix is very similar to the album mix. Lead vocals, keyboards, and backing vocals are phased at different parts of the song. Some added percussion is thrown in here and there. Not a very special remix which actually takes away from the song's gospel feel.

Lyrics:
Can anybody find me somebody to love
Ooh, ooh, ooh
Oooh, oooh, oooh
Each morning I get up I die a little
Can barely stand on my feet
(Take at a look at yourself) take a look in the mirror and cry (and cry)
Lord what you doing to me (yeah, yeah)
I have spent all my years in believing you (oooh, oooh, believing you)
But I just can't get no relief, Lord
Somebody (somebody), ooh somebody (somebody)
Can anybody find me somebody to love
Yeah
I work hard (he works hard) every day of my life
I work till I ache my bones
At the end (at the end of the day)
I take home my (goes home) hard earned pay all on my own (goes home on his own)
I get down (down) on my knees (knees)
And I start to pray (praise the lord)
Till the tears run down from my eyes (oooh, oooh, oooh)
Lord - somebody (somebody) ooh somebody (please)
Can anybody find me
Somebody to love
(He works hard)
Everyday (everyday) - I try and I try and I try
But everybody wants to put me down (oooooh)
They say I'm going crazy (oooooh)
They say I got a lot of water in my brain (ooooh)
I got no common sense
I (he's) got nobody left to believe
(Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
Oooh, yeah, yeah
(Oooh, oooh, oooh, oooh)
Ooh, somebody, ooh (somebody)
Anybody find me somebody to love
(Anybody find me someone to love)
I got no feel, I've got no rhythm
I just keep losing my beat (you just keep losing and losing)
I'm OK, I'm alright (he's alright, he's alright)
I ain't gonna face no defeat (yeah, yeah)
I just gotta get out of this prison cell (oooh, oooh, this prison cell)
Someday I'm gonna be free, Lord!
(Find me somebody to love, find me somebody to love)
(Find me somebody to love, find me somebody to love)
(Find me somebody to love) find me, find me, find me, find me, somebody to love (find me somebody to love)
(Find me somebody to love, find me somebody to low-oh-wow-oh-wow) Oh, oh, oh, oh, ooooh
(Find me somebody to love, find me somebody to love)
(Somebody, somebody, somebody, somebody)
(Somebody find me somebody find me somebody to love)
Can anybody find me
Somebody to.....
Love
(Find me somebody to love) oooooh (find me somebody to love)
Find me somebody, somebody, somebody, somebody to love (find me somebody to love)
Find me, find me, find me, find me, find me (find me somebody to love)
Ooooh, somebody to love (find me somebody to love)
Oooh, ooh, ooh, oooh (find me somebody to love) find me, find me, find me, somebody to love
Anybody, anywhere, anybody find me somebody to love (find me somebody to)
Lord, find me, find me, find me
