We chose to go with Electronic Visa on Arrival (eVOA) instead of a regular Visa on Arrival (VOA) - and it was worth it. We got almost last off the plane and the queues for the VOA were very busy. However, there were only 10-15 people in line for the eVOA and it took us around 20 minutes to clear the immigration visa instead of spending hours on that. The price is the same for both visas (500k IDR - £27 at the time when this video was uploaded). We paid online for the eVOA and we got approved in seconds. There might be an issue if you misspell something on your application and it doesn’t match the details in your passport. Unfortunately, in most cases, you’re visa will not be accepted, which means you might have to go on the other line and apply for a VOA. Also, they don’t do a refund of your initially processed eVOA.
