While it's our job to be be prepared to answer anyone who "calls you to account for the hope that is in you" (1 Peter 3:15), it is not our job to *make* anyone believe; only the Holy Spirit and a volitional choice from the heart of the hearer can make a conversion. Pray for your friend and grow in joy; read up on any issue they struggle with, but do so as a means to help them, not so as to throw a solution at them, an unwanted solution usually for an unseen problem.
