| Video Discription | Knowing that teens and adults across the world struggle with social anxiety on a daily basis, Vishruth details his experiences in an effort to empower viewers to overcome their anxiety in their own way. He explores not only how social anxiety roots itself inside a person, but also how it can unknowingly take control of a person’s behavior in both casual and professional situations. He then provides a framework that can be used to develop confidence when engaging with both close friends and new people alike. Vishruth Hanumaihgari is a junior at Parkland High School. Throughout his career, he has developed a strong interest in medicine and public speaking through his involvement in the debate team and various STEM initiatives, ranging from national science competitions to community projects, including his own student organization, Youth Against Cancer. He is dedicated to emboldening youth across the world by encouraging them to use their voices to initiate positive change in their communities, and he hopes his message will give them the confidence they need to, one day, share their own experiences with social anxiety.
