| Video Discription | "OVER 40 MOUNTAIN BIKE TIPS: DROP PHYSICS" was inspired by subscribers who wanted a drop method that worked when the beginner 101 method didn't. Examples include: Slower drop speeds. Chunky take offs. Drops that are easy to overshoot. I'm joined by again by the man who literally wrote the book on mountain biking, Lee from Lee Likes Bikes. This video is a follow up to our earlier video on the unified theory of mountain bike drops, "MOUNTAIN BIKE DROPS FOR BEGINNERS. DON'T MANUAL OFF DROPS!" It might be helpful to watch that first. There is nothing that changes about the physics of drops if you're over 40 or any age for that matter. But we find that riders over 40 tend to be more careful and thoughtful about their riding. And a more analytical approach to the how and why of mountain biking builds confidence in more mature riders. That's why this video is crammed with the physics and the math behind the motion of a mountain bike on drops. You'll see why speed is your BFF on drops and why if you can't carry speed adding some pop will keep that front end up.
