Minecraft 1.12 has brought with it many small but very important innovations to Command Blocks - including changes to command chains and, of course, the new Advancements system - and today I want to talk about a relatively recent addition: functions. Yes. An official function system in Minecraft, and it brings a lot of opportunities that weren't quite possible before... Things that I forgot to mention in the video: * You can reload all functions, loot tables and advancements while working using the command '/reload' (Instead of reopenning the world everytime you make a change to a function). * You can make a specific function that runs every tick using the gamerule 'gameLoopFunction' (Usage: '/gamerule gameLoopFunction YOUR_FOLDER:YOUR_FUNCTION' The default location of the minecraft save folder (where the functions are saved) on Windows is 'C:\Users\YOUR_USER\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves\YOUR_SAVE ---------------------------- The Minecraft Scientist - Command Block creations, Redstone, Vanilla mods, tutorials, tips and tricks, survival and more.
