| Video Discription | In this video, we will go step by step on how to replace the water pump on a 09 Dodge Charger with the 2.7 engine. This engine can be found in base models 6th generation (2006-2010) Dodge Chargers. Water Pumps on these Dodge Chargers are notorious for going out. If you own one of these vehicles be prepared to replace the water pump at some point (if it hasn't been done by a previous owner or something). The water pump is an internal water pump and is timing chain driven and takes about 5.9 hours in labor time according to the labor guide. I've done this job a few times, but it's been a minute since I've had to do one. I'd rate the skill level needed for this an intermediate skill level.
