| Video Discription | when assembling: using a credit card, check the clearence of the tub nut. There is a 1/4" gap under the nut, a ridge, then the seat (another 1/4"). I ended up using a nail hammer to tighten down the nut. I seated it (noticible) then tightened it about an extra 1/16 - 1/8 turn. Still need to replace the impeller(12-04-22). Replacing the "transmission" or bearing on a Maytag Bravo washing machine. Some tools: 7mm socket, 10 mm, 11mm, 1/4", impact driver, 3/8 to quickrelease adapter, T30 bit/drive, box knife, TB123 (ebay), 6" & 9" extension, 1/4 to 3/8 adapter, flat blade screw driver, hammer, and a rubber malot. - Keep whispering to yourself optimism: you've got this: just a walk in the park: slow and stead wins the race. - Replace the hoses, yes its another 36 bucks, but then they wont leak for another 5 years. May want a new nut for the inner tub. When it's on its side, position your feet at the bottom and pull the washer from the top towards your lap.
