Sometimes, there is a need where we need to export filtered datasets from Power BI using the button. Then how can we do that? How we can export Filtered Dataset from Power BI to Excel using Power Automate. We will learn how we can export data to Excel from Power BI Button. In my earlier episode, I explained, how to export data in CSV format. But I received lots of comments to export the data in an Excel file. Every time, when user clicks on the button, a new Excel file should be generated and it should be sent as an email attachment. We will use the concept of Power Automate Visual with Power BI. We will pass filter context from Power BI to MS Flow and then Create a Excel file to the OneDrive Location or send the exported data as an Email attachment.
