| Video Discription | Some pictures at Hucknall in 1997. Many of the buildings on the 1920's RAF site remain in use by light industry. However, many of the RR structures have now gone. What a crying shame! All that history! When are we going to start protecting our aviation heritage properly. A site like this should have been better protected. Thats commerce! Not only is our once world beating aviation industry disappearing, so is its vast and unparalleled heritage! I have many more stations "revisited" to follow. The scanning in of old pictures is a lengthy task. I should take this opportunity to remind you to always get permission before entering private or restricted property.
