IIM Indore doesn't see the student's marks in descending order. They have their special ATS (Aptitude Test Score) formula, which gives 25%, 25% and 50% weightage to the SA, MCQ and VA sections, respectively. Hence, you must also play to your strengths and maximise your marks in one of the sections to get a higher weightage. Just clearing the cut-off isn't enough, as most aspirants who have cleared the cut-off have barely done it by a couple of marks. Hence, IPMAT cut-offs are overrated.
