Three Days (Seattle 12.08.97) These are the complete or almost complete songs taken from the Relapse tour footage. I spent some time remastering and up-converting to high definition. The original format was letter box in standard definition. I needed to crop the top and sides and hold the quality. I tried a few different methods that for this specific footage I felt worked well. This was one of our favorite tours we had ever had the pleasure of following. My wife, brother and I journeyed to 6 of the shows from the New York shows through different cities and ended up finishing at the Enit Festival in San Francisco. As it is approaching the 20 year mark of this historic period of music, I figured I would put this together. I recall this tour as if it were yesterday. It represented so many things. Anticipation of music to be played by the band that had been broken up for so many years, for some of us to hear for the first time live. The experiencing of a tour which transformed from tight powerful excitement, into the unraveling of relapse and chaos. This which can be seen in the performance of Three Days, which has its own magical quality to it, but is completely different, uninhibited, loose, more sexual and with a reckless nature that was more of the Jane's of old. 2a2jq0PCmZU |
