Film Synopsis: The film, starring Ernesto Reyes and Jesse Tayeh, revolves around is a young Latino man that falls into the world of the mafiosos. When an accident leads Ruben Gonzales (Reyes) into incarceration, his relationship with the cartel and with his family is strained. Whilst in prison, Ruben falls in the complex hierarchical system until his cellmate and eventual lover Carlos (Tayeh), comes to his side and helps him find emotional and financial stability. When the two men are released from prison two years apart, they again meet on the outside. Ruben and Carlos, whilst dealing with the circumstances that saw their incarceration, they ponder whether what they once had was real. Could it just have been two people hoping to seek light in a dark place?
