| Video Discription | Together with Doosan DST of South Korea, CMI Defense of Belgium developed this prototype light tank. The K-21 infantry fighting vehicle chassis and the recently created Cockerill XC-8 lightweight concept turret are combined to form the light tank. This turret makes use of portions of the Cockerill CT-CV turret's technology. A high-pressure cannon of 105 or 120 millimeters can be installed on this tank. Based on a reasonably light and portable chassis, this combination offers a strong direct firing capability. Comparing this tank to main battle tanks, it is more maneuverable from a strategic and tactical standpoint due to its reduced weight. fNXmOSsRxLA |
