It is usually made using refined sugar. But I have made this small variation so that Shufta can be a included in the group of sweets with jaggery, to make it more healthy. Here’s an offbeat political angle to it. One possibility that came to my mind was to integrate Kashmiri culture with ours, by including Kashmiri cuisines into our diet.
