I concentrated more on the souring process than the actual beer plan, but I did end up making what I called an American sour beer, which I guess is kind of like a Gose, but the IBUs were a bit high. Feel free to comment the exact type I made. I took an El Dorado Pale recipe and soured it using natural lactobacillus bacteria from a pilsner malt. The sour starter guide can be found here: https://www.fivebladesbrewing.com/lactobacillus-starter-guide/ **A special note that I forgot to mention is that the sour starter can contain harmful bacteria until boiled after kettle souring. Only smell the culture to ensure no crazy bad smells. Do not taste!
