| Video Discription | Network Rail carry out track inspections using special trains every few weeks to ensure that the railway is safe for running trains. On HS1 these trains are hauled by Eurotunnel Class 0001 ‘Krupp’ diesel locomotives. These locos are predominantly used for rescuing failed trains in the channel tunnel however they are fitted with TVM-430 (the signalling system for HS1) meaning they are used for test trains and other engineering trains on the line. On the night before this video, the test train coaches developed a fault and was parked at Lenham Heath loops until 3:45pm today allowing the capture of an extremely rare daylight move of this traction.
