'Kshan' is a thoughtful story about Neelambari (Deepa Parab), who has fallen for Vihang (Prasad Oak), a struggling singer who is forced to marry Nikhil (Subodh Bhave). After spending three successful years of her marriage, Neelambari meets Vihang on a very crucial stage of life. Nikhil learns about Neelambari's incurable health problem because of which she is predicted to die soon. Realizing that his wife will not survive for long, Nikhil maturely decides to let his wife spend some precious moments with her first love. The trauma from which the trio suffer after realizing that they are about to lose the love of their life forms the crux of the story.
