| Video Discription | Gokulam Grand Kumarakom resort is One of the best 5 Star Luxury Resort in Kumarakom set beside the stunningly beautiful Kumarakom backwaters is blessed with the nature’s beauty with backwaters, coconut groves, exotic birds and serene sunsets. The picturesque outdoor areas make Gokulam Grand Kumarakom the perfect choice for vacations and Functions. The whole area was lush green and they have a small lake and lagoon inside the resort. Resort has a lovely swimming pool facing the lagoon and they also have swimming dress for a charge. Resort has Villas and rooms. We stayed in a Lake View Room which has open access to the lawn in front of the Vembanad Lake. Room has all the modern amenities and TV with Dish Satellite. And they have Complimentary Tea Kettle and tea Sachets. Bathroom doesn't have bath tub in normal rooms and Only Suite rooms have bathtubs. But still it was Pretty Good and modern with all Amenities. The Resort has lots of Lavish Green open areas and that makes this place a good spot for taking some of the beautiful photos. Resort has lots of Activities like Kayaking,Boating and other Indoor Sports like Chess, Carrom. The resort has A multi-cuisine restaurant set beside a stylishly appointed lounge offers a delectable range of pan-Indian, Chinese and Continental cuisine. A bar set adjacent to the restaurant serves an eclectic range of spirits, wines and cocktails as does the pool side bar. Food tasted pretty good, especially the Kerala Cuisine. Evening high Tea with snacks like Biscuit and Tea offered complimentary outside their restaurant between 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM. And around 5:30 PM they also offered a complimentary Houseboat 1hr ride. We didn't take houseboat ride since we had booked for separate one day houseboat ride the next day. Night view of the resort was fantastic and it looked so majestic. Resort is located right next to the Kumarakom backwater channel where houseboats take halt or break. And the morning view was so peaceful. Overall the resort is one of the best backwater resorts and offers all the Luxury. Price starts from 9000 Rs and this is in range with other resorts in Kumarakom.
