| Video Discription | ▶️ Syrian Kurds in Kobani in Syria's northeast protest Turkish military convoys who, with the Russians, are conducting joint patrols as part of an agreement between the two countries, Tuesday, November 5. 👉 The U.S and Turkey agreed upon a "safe zone" area on Oct. 17, while a Russia-Turkey agreement was decided on Oct. 22. Through the agreements, Turkey aims to create a 30-kilometer (19-mile) zone across its southern border where the Kurdish elements of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) will be forced to withdraw. Turkish officials say they cannot tolerate along their borders any presence of the Kurdish fighters known as the People's Protection Units (YPG), which Ankara sees as a terrorist organization.
