| Video Discription | I shot this during my last visit to La Masia this past November. This not the academy u8's but the 'Escola' u8s. The Escola (school) is the level just below the academy. These are players who are being considered for the academy. I have to admit, I was impressed with the technical level of these 6 and 7 year olds. Despite their age they were incredibly composed on the ball and, at times, surprisingly creative. In particular, watch the the taller, blonde-haired player on the blue team. I would not be surprised to see him called up the academy sooner rather than later. We will, for sure, follow up on our next visit to La Masia. DESCRIPTION: 6 players divided into two teams (red and blue) and one neutral player (yellow). Two grids: one grid approx 15 x 15 yards with a smaller grid approx 5 x 5 yards in the center. Each team earns a point when they are able to successfully complete a pass that travels through the smaller grid to a teammate. If you like this video please like and subscribe.
