| Video Discription | There are 3 types of poha (also known as rice flakes or beaten rice) available in the market - Thick, Medium, and Thin. I have used thick poha for this recipe. Poha laddu is my own recipe. This laddu can be prepared instantly with only a few ingredients. These laddus will be slightly crispy and soft. Here are a few tips: 1. Poha gets fried within seconds, so remove it immediately from the pan to avoid it from getting burnt. 2. Check the consistency of the jaggery syrup by taking a few drops of the syrup in a small bowl and cooling it down. Then, touch the syrup using your thumb and forefinger and move your fingers away. If the syrup hangs by a single thread, then the required consistency has been achieved. 3. To make the ladoos more crispy and crunchy, boil the jaggery syrup for a few more minutes.
