| Video Discription | Within the Lands Between stands a great tree, once known as the primordial Crucible, transformed by the Elden Ring into what we now call the Erdtree. The Erdtree, as well as its primordial form, are known for their symbolic ties to life, death and rebirth. Within our reality there is the Yew tree. The Yew, like the Erdtree, has played an important role within different cultural mythos throughout time. Once seen as sacred to ancient druids from Ireland, it was transformed into a symbol of immortality used by Christians. This transition of a tree centered around druids repurposed into a tree centered around Christians reminded me of the transition of the Crucible great tree into the Erdtree due to the influence of the Greater Will.
