| Video Discription | This is just a teaser video of the rescues we have available that are in training. Full videos are available on each horse and will be posted shortly. Please contact us via facebook, Louisiana Horse Rescue Association or at our website for more info on adopting or sponsoring a horse. All of these horses were rescued from Ryder River Ridge Farm in January, 2013. Two horses died immediately from organ failure due to extreme starvation, and many more suffered for months. The herd costs a minimum of $8 per day, per horse to feed. A number of the horses had and have major medical expenses. LHRA is solely funded on donations, which are tax deductible.
