Liron here, and in this video I want to give you 4 GOOD reasons to try out using a limited palette. I mainly relate this to watercolor, but it can be applied to other painting media. 1. It simplifies your decision-making process. 2. It makes you quicker. 3. It ensures a pleasing color harmony. 4. It is CHEAPER! If that last one didn't convince you, I don't know what will (; In addition, I present several examples of limited palette types: 1. Three primary palette. For this one, I would definitely recommend Daniel Smith's Primary set. It's great bang for the buck. The colors are high quality and it's large tubes. You can get it here (affiliate link): http://amzn.to/2k2jsA0 2. Extended limited palette. 3. Warm and cool primary palette. This is actually how I got started. The best option for this (which I started with too) is Daniel Smith's Essentials set. You can get it here (also affiliate link): http://amzn.to/2BmLUk5 I haven't done the proper research for Schmincke's sets (if they in fact exist), but the ones I recommend here are FANTASTIC.
