| Video Discription | Budget or Luxury? What is Accommodation in Sri Lanka like? If you are keen to find out or are planning a trip to the Resplendent Isle, this video is for you! We've just spent 2 weeks travelling around the beautiful Pearl of the Indian Ocean, Sri Lanka. (You'll find all the details of this in my 3 part vlog series). Before leaving on our holiday, Sri Lanka was a completely unexplored land to me. I’d seen pictures of mountains, ravines, rugged beaches, misty jungles and national parks with wildlife like leopards and fruit bears. However, I had always suspected that there was an element of ‘overrepresentation’ when it came to advertising and promotion and I wasn't sure what value for money I could expect. Were the online photos representative of what we would actually find once we arrived? We decided to stay in some very budget hotels (on nights that we came in late and left early), some moderately priced accommodations for 2 night stays, and finish with two luxury stays in both Mirissa Beach and then Bentota Beach. I hope to show you what you can expect both inside the hotel rooms, within the accommodation facilities and the outside nature and landscapes.... as well as showcase some more of this majestic country as we move around it.
