| Video Discription | Had a chance to visit the World Famous Kapellbrücke (Chapel Bridge) in Lucerne, Switzerland and it did not disappoint. Not only is it Europe’s oldest covered wooden bridge, dating all the way back to the 1360 AD, but it’s also the world’s oldest truss bridge! It’s very cool walking literally through history with beautiful views in every direction. The original art you see on the bridge (which was from the 17th Century) was unfortunately lost in a fire during the 90's, but they were luckily restored. This is one of Switzerland’s most famous attractions, I definitely recommend visiting it and then grabbing fondue to get warm at one of the many nearby restaurants. vguj8kra7Yk |
