| Video Discription | One of the absolute best ways you can upgrade any classic car or American Muscle Car, is a disc break conversion. Most of these cars from the 60s and 70s came with drum brakes, which for the time were, ok, but for modern driving and hot rod power levels, just don't cut it. Fortunately there are lots of options available through retailers like Jegs or Summit Racing, or directly through the companies themselves like The Right Stuff. For this video we are doing GM A Body rear disc break conversion on our customer's beautiful 1967 Chevelle. In stock trim the stock brakes MAY have held up, but as a 502 powered 4 speed car, brakes are definitely important! As with lots of cars that come to us, there are almost always hidden surprises, and that's exactly what we have here. Fortunately we were able to adapt and overcome, and get the job completed.
