Yet, Bettina never let her disability stop her from pursuing and achieving her dreams. Passionate about horses, Bettina started to ride as a teenager. This was only the beginning – she has competed in the Paralympics, European Championships, the World Championships and three times in the German Championships. Bettina contacted Lusitano World end of last year. Her goal? To find a Lusitano companion, a truly special horse. It was with tears in our eyes we witness how Homero and Bettina found each other.
