In the municipality of Dolores, which felt the full force of the quake, many people fled their homes and shops, and the windows of the local market were shattered. A video posted on social media showed cracks in the asphalt road and ground in the nearby town of Bangued, though there was no visible damage to houses or stores. Another video showed the Bantay Bell Tower in the popular tourist destination partially crumbling. The quake was also felt in Manila where several buildings were evacuated, with some people forced to flee from the 30th floor of one building, and the city's metro rail systems were halted at rush hour. Fortunately, the quake had not issued any tsunami warnings because it was detected inland.
