How to make Pomfret Curry? Pomfret curry Paplet Curry Malvani style Ingredients: 1. 250gm Pomfret 2. 1 bowl Grated Coconut 3. 5 Garlic 4. 5 Lavangi Chilies 5. 5 Bedagi Chilies 6. Half Onion 7. ½ tbsp Turmeric 8. 7-8 Curry Leaves 9. 6-7 Kokam 10. 4 Dry Mango pieces 11. 1.5 tbsp Coriander Seeds Recipe: 1. While preparing the Authentic Malvani Fish Curry first apply some Salt on Pomfret pieces. 2. Keep it aside for 30-45 Minutes then Wash it off. 3. For Curry Masala: In a mixer Jar Take 1 bowl grated coconut, ½ tbsp Turmeric, 1.5 tbsp coriander leaves, 1/4th chopped onion, 5 garlic, 5 lavangi chilies, 5 bedagi chilies now add few amount of water and make fine paste. 4. Now wash the Pomfret pieces and add 1 tbsp kokam juice and 2-3 masala. 5. For Curry preparation keep the pot on medium flame. 6. Add 2 tbsp oil then add 1/4th chopped onion and 6-7 curry leaves. 7. Let it fry for a minute. 8. Now add the masala and mix it well. 9. Add all the leftover masala from mixer jar by adding some water. 10. Now add Pomfret pieces and mix gently. 11. Add at least 1 glass of water to maintain consistency. 12. Now add 6-7 Kokam and salt as per taste. 13. Mix it well and now keep the gas on high flame. 14. Once it gets boiled cover the pot with lid and turn off the flame. 15. Authentic Malvani Curry will be ready after 10minutes. 16. Serve the dish with hot rice and enjoy the curry.
