| Video Discription | After a few months off due to final semester of college and "graduation" hiatus, Peggy & Jason return for a fresh new episode of the podcast talking about Chicago Bulls draft pick Matas Buzelis. In a year in which the NBA Draft was "interesting", the Bulls selected a local High School standout who bypassed college to play in the G-League. Matas Buzelis started his High School career at Hinsdale Central in a Chicago suburb where he grew up, but after the pandemic shut down sports he transferred to Brewster Academy. Coach Jason Smith joins the show to talk about Buzelis in High School and why he is a "unicorn" in basketball terms. The Lithuanian hoopster comes from good genes -- both his parents were athletes along with his grandmother! A tall winger who can handle the ball, his upside is strong and an example of the direction NBA players are going. The podcast also has Jason's predictions and a funny look back at Peggy's first on air jobs in Hartford Connecticut and Johnstown Pennsylvania! Celebrating this "mother and son" show that Peggy and started the 5 1/2 years ago when Jason was a Junior in High School. The Pandemic brought them together to talk sports and bridge the generation gap between Mother and Teenage Son. Now, Jason has graduated from college at the University of Texas and is working full-time at WIBW-TV in Topeka Kansas as an MMJ Journalist covering news & sports. Meanwhile Peggy is back working at ESPN 1000 in Chicago as a Co-Host of the Chicago Bears Postgame broadcasts with John Jurkovic and co-hosting "Peggy & Dionne" on Saturdays with ABC-7 TV's Dionne Miller (also found on YouTube on the ESPN Chicago Channel).
