Braun shavers are very hard to manually clean and should be avoided along with certain Norelco models. The choice between Foil and Rotary is what you want from your shave. Rotary IMO is going to be a closer shave, but might cause more irritation. Whereas foil might not be quite as close, but will provide a lot less irritation. Both work good and are wonderful options if you have sensitive skin, skin that is prone to ingrown hairs, or just want to save from having to constantly purchase a new blade.
