Join Michaela Coel for a glimpse into the filmmaking process as we launch the BMW Filmmaking Challenge, in partnership with the @britishfilminstitute. Inspired by the ground-breaking, all-electric BMW i7 and its ultra-wide 32:9 8K Theatre Screen, we’ve partnered with the BFI to help nurture creativity and support innovation among the industry’s most forward-thinking filmmakers. We're challenging filmmakers to show the world a new perspective, by experimenting in their own unique way to create a short film for this exciting new canvas. Five shortlisted filmmakers will receive mentorship from Michaela Coel, £10,000 budget and access to 8K camera technology to bring their vision to life. The winner of the Challenge will have their ultra-wide short film premiered at the BFI London Film Festival.
